Changchun University of Science and Technology was founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1958. The scientist and academician, Mr. Wang Dazhao was the founder and first dean of the university. Since its founding, the university has been affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of Machinery, Machinery, Electrical, and Mechanical Services, and the General Corporation of Weapons Industry.
The university has three campuses with a land area of 718,000 square meters. It has 11 schools, 14 liberal arts colleges, law schools, graduate schools, distance learning, and continuing education colleges and more. Changchun University of Science and Technology is a higher institution that is big on research. In fact, it has seven schools under the direct supervision of scientific research institutions.
Changchun University of Science and Technology is the first university to train optical professionals. If you're an international student, you can stay in the International Education and Exchange Center. You can choose from a single or double room. All rooms are fully furnished with complete facilities such as a bed, bookshelf, chair, study desk, shower, TV, fridge, and internet connection.
The accommodation hall has a public kitchen on each floor. The 10th floor has a laundry area while the 13th floor has a gym which is free for overseas students. The dorm also has 24-hours security surveillance.
Staying in the International Education and Exchange Center residence is a great way to meet new people and create lasting friendships.
