DMU is a multi-disciplinary medical university and one of the largest medical universities in China. It is also a popular education hub for international students who want to take an MBBS. DMU has more than a thousand overseas students from 82 different countries studying different degree programs.
DMU was one of the first few universities in China that offered the MBBS degree. Its medical degree is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and many medical authorities in foreign countries. DMU is the national demonstration base of international students by the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the first batches of 30 universities that were allowed to offer English-based courses in MBBS, Oral Medicine, Nursing and more. Besides medical degrees, DMU offers programs in other fields like science, engineering, management, arts, law, and philosophy.
Dalian Medical University has available on-campus apartments for all students. The apartment for international students is located on the main campus. There is also an available building for Degree and Language students on the campus. All rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, desk, chair, equipped bed with bedding, television, bathroom, heater, internet, telephone. The apartments will cost you an estimated 11,000 RMB/YEAR.
If you want to stay off-campus, you may also do so. There are many hostels, hotels, and apartments around the campus. For hostels, the cost ranges from 5300 to 8000 RMB/YEAR depending on your room type. Apartments can cost up to 24000 to 49000 RMB/YEAR. To save, you can share with other students and divide the cost. Lastly, hotels can cost your 12,000 to 22,000 RMB/YEAR depending on your room.
